A Tale of Two Brothers in Pain
Two brothers were working at their factory jobs. They both pulled their backs out on the same day.
One brother called a Chiropractor, and then had to schedule an appointment. He suffered for three more days, and then finally got in to see the doctor. When he got there, he had to wait 90 minutes before he was seen. He came out in more pain than he went in with. He also had to commit to six months of treatments. Unfortunately, a not uncommon story.
The other brother called Dr. Moellendorf's office and got in on the same day for his appointment. After he became a regular patient, he did not even have to call ahead to come in. There were no long term commitments. Dr. Moellendorf's office has a policy that you can just drop in unannounced and you will be taken care of as soon as there is an opening in the schedule. Waiting time is usually 10 minutes or less. So this brother's back pain was helped and he was back on the job the next day.

Our Family's Story
When I was growing up something happened to our family that changed my life forever. Let me tell you that story.
Dad was only in his early thirties. That’s when it happened. He started to become crippled with arthritis. It was hard for the family to watch him in constant pain, and we couldn’t understand why he was changing so much. The kids didn’t know what was happening. He just wasn’t that fun, active dad he used to be with the trouble he had moving around and his hands hurt so badly. And that’s not all.
For months, dad went from doctor to doctor looking for relief from his pain. He tried everything that the doctors suggested, but nothing worked. I learned later that he was terrified that he would become completely crippled and not be able to take care of his family.
That’s when my mom finally convinced him to see her doctor. The doctor did an exam, took some films, and then “adjusted” my dad’s spine and joints. Dad even said that adjustment didn’t hurt, and that it actually felt good! Over some time, we watched his pain decrease and finally end, and saw he was able to move his fingers again! By the way, mom’s doctor was a Chiropractor. And, Chiropractic made such an impact on my father that he changed careers and went to Chiropractic school in his thirties! They say that the “apple never falls far from the tree.” And, I guess they’re right, because I decided to follow in dad’s footsteps and go to Chiropractic school myself! Not only that, but my brother, uncle, and nephew are also Chiropractors.
It’s strange how life is, because now people come to see me with the same arthritis problems that my dad suffered with. Also they come to me with their headaches, migraines, chronic pain, neck pain, shoulder/arm pain, whiplash from car accidents, backaches, numbness in limbs, athletic injuries, just to name a few.
It's very rewarding to watch people get better, especially after other forms of treatment had failed.
